Pollution ABATEMENT

The Nevis Solid Waste Management Authority partners with NBF to empty the dumpster regularly, since the Fish Landing site is not along the Authority’s established route for waste collection. Since its establishment in 2016, the NBF has organized numerous beach clean ups and participated in the NHCS Annual International Coastal Cleanup in 2017, 2018 and 2019, to remove accumulated trash from the coastline at Newcastle Bay.
